Hosted at the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, IAPBL is uniquely situated to serve as a crossroads for ideas and collaboration between the United States and countries in both Asia and the Pacific. IAPBL provides talks, colloquiums, conferences, and trainings in partnership with the World Bank, UN, IMF, international law schools, and Pacific and Asian governments and judiciaries.

The Institute also supports research and scholarly development for fellows exploring the boundaries of commercial law, insolvency and secured transactions, corporate law and business transactions, securities, intellectual property, real estate financing, and labor law issues.
